Wait, it's best for this one random guy to grief new players at the second mission to the point that they quit the game in disgust, rather than them getting far enough in that they might happen upon a scammer?

no its also best that people relize their are people in this game who do things that make other people do non-productive things to make you mad you will have to live with it *laughs* if u dint undrstd tht, jst rd belw...

The current monk imbalance plus bad players invoke the inner demon within good players and tempt them into grieving. Having no monk foreshadows failure in any given match. Also, so many bad players cause teams to fail. This in turn causes desensitization within good players, tempting them into the grieving game trend to destroy what little competitiveness exists in Random Arenas. RA needs balance, and player improvement, which can only happen in a perfect world [unfortunately]. RA is pretty doomed... One can only make the best of it... or ragequit.

And that should happen at the second mission in the game, when a new player is really just testing the waters and figuring out if this game is for him or not, because....?

<sarcasm>Silly you, there are no new players, it's just veterans screwing around now!</sarcasm>

Let the poor new players play in peace and don't be a dick, FFS. Really not a difficult concept.

Heh heh... I ran something like that in JQ a couple times...
Not for griefing, I actually did it for debuffing the poo out of the other team. Its particularly good at shutting down the bombers when you're alone at a quarry.
Pathetic part is when it wins.

Many months ago, I happened upon a crazed Luxon Monk whilst playing JQ. The guy was an obvious troll, using UA and Glyph of Swiftness to kill his allies at inopportune times. Later on, I saw him spamming Iron Mist and Glyph of Renewal on ranged professions and juggernauts.
